Albert Kosar

Albert (Buddy) Franklin Kosar, age 83, of Eau Claire died at his home on March 8, 2017. 

Albert was born May 19, 1933 in Chippewa County. He was the youngest of six children of Albert and Mary (Kral) Kosar. He grew up on the family farm in the township of Colburn. 

Albert served in the US Air Force for four years during the Cold War. He later became a member of the American Legion. Albert loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a gentle soul with a generous heart. Albert was employed with the State of Wisconsin’s Department of Transportation for 23 years where he retired as a Project Engineer in 1992. 

Albert was preceded in death by his parents, brother Adolph Kosar, sisters Eleanor Konieczny, Marie Rice, Lillian Novak and Joan Murphy. He is survived by many nieces and nephews. 

A private graveside service will be held on Sunday, June 18 at 1:00 PM in the Bohemian National Cemetery at Cadott. Arrangements were provided by the Leiser Funeral Home, Cadott, WI.
